Waiheke getaway this Sunday

Sunday Walk - Waiheke Island Coastal Walk Sunday 8th June 2025

Feel like getting away from the bustle of Auckland? Meet our intrepid ASC seniors and catch the 9.00 am ferry to Waiheke from the downtown ferry terminal this Sunday. On arrival at the Matiatia Bay terminal we will take a bus to Palm Beach and from there walk back along the picturesque coastline via various tracks and walkways to the ferry terminal. Waihekes’ northern coastline is most interesting with lots of small coves, sandy bays and scenery to enjoy along the way. This walk is suitable for seniors, adults and older children. Bring your AT Hop card (for the bus on Waiheke), your lunch, strong shoes, warm clothes and a raincoat.
