Winter Tongariro Crossing, 6 & 7 September

Join Mark for this classic trip under Winter conditions. Participants must have had experience with crampoons & ice axe. Helmets, ice axe & crampoons will be mandatory for this trip, these can be rented from the club. It could either be a long day crossing (19km) or split into two with an overnight at the cosy Oturere hut depending on weather & party interest. This trip will only be going ahead if the weather forecast is reasonable.
